CardiacScan Imaging was founded in 2007 by Donna Bright, CEO and Walker Kimbell, both Veterans of the US Military. Prior to founding CardiacScan Imaging, Donna had 20 years of highly successful medical device experience with Boston Scientific and Johnson & Johnson as well as 6 years as a Captain in the US Air Force specializing in F-16 Maintenance and Training. Donna graduated from Texas Christian University and Endicott College, she holds degrees in Electronic Systems Technology and Marketing. Although Walker no longer plays an active role in the company, his influence in the early years can still be felt today.
For many years Donna’s career at Boston Scientific was centered around training physicians on cardiac and peripheral therapies, treating patients once they had been diagnosed. After her Father, Alan, died of a heart attack in his sleep, she began questioning why he had never been diagnosed with cardiac disease. CardiacScan Imaging was born and Donna’s new mission and passion is centered around early detection and diagnosis through mobile ultrasound at your location.
